Wall photo fun

While Todd and I lived in Europe, instead of buying a bunch of souvenirs. We thought it would be fun and cheaper to take one quality wall picture of every country or city we traveled to. So it turned out to be a competition on who would take the best picture.

So here we are 43 wall photo's later with the problem of where and how we are going to hang all of these.

At first I wanted to do something very organic, but with this many photo's it became really cluttered and overwhelming to look at. So I took it all down and moved it to our stairs.
This is the best technique ever if you are not sure how the pictures will look on the wall. I cut out the same size of every photo and then marked an X where the nail would go. This way you can just nail straight onto the paper and then rip it off when you are ready to hang your picture. Just make sure you use painters tape so while you are moving the paper around your paint won't come with it.

Rule of thumb when hanging pictures up your stairs. Make sure you have the same measurement from the railing or floor to the corner of the lowest picture frame. Then all the pictures above that should have the same spacing between them. Mine are 1 1/2" apart.
